Sandy Brae Board Bios:

Kathy Davison, Originally from Baltimore, recently retired from forty years in media sales, owned in Sandy Brae since 1999, and moved here full-time in 2005. Board member for nine years now Past President of the Lewes Chamber of Commerce, served on the Boards of Coastal Concerts, Clear Space Theatre, Milton Theatre, and worked on numerous Lewes-Rehoboth non-profit development committees. Previously served on the SBHOA Board for nine years, current President and lives with her wife, Ruth, on Locust Lane.

Joanne Kempton, Retired Financial Manager and Bookkeeper for several local businesses, previous SBHOA Board Member for four years. Moved to Sandy Brae from New Jersey in 2002. Volunteers for the Historical Lewes Farmers Market. Enjoys golf, yoga, and Taiichi. Lives with partner Judy and their “cat kids” on Locust Lane.

Helena Hannah has over 30 years’ experience in management and accounting.   Currently works at the national headquarters of a sorority as accounting manager.  Served as council member for the Town of Bowers Beach.  Moved to Sandy Brae in 2019 and enjoys living near the water.   Lives with husband Charlie and two dogs on Maple Drive.

Lisa George lived in Philadelphia until moving to Sandy Brae in 2022.  She has 35 years of administrative experience in legal and medical fields and is currently on staff at a mental health practice in Lewes.  She is a member of the Byberry Friends Quaker Meeting for 12 years serving on several committees.  She also held the positions of Recording Clerk and voting Trustee. For over 20 years she was a member of the Parkwood Civic Association where she launched a successful grassroots effort to preserve land.  She also volunteered at the food pantry, held charity auctions, and did everything many other duties for the Association.  Lisa lives on Juniper Lane with her husband Greg and their pups Peanut (just”P) and Landie.  She enjoys visits from family, bike riding, beach days, and the company of wonderful neighbors.
