Lisa George, Lisa moved to Sandy Brae from Philadelphia in 2022. With 35+ years of experience in legal and medical administration, she now works at a mental health practice in Lewes. A longtime volunteer, she has brought that passion and skill to Sandy Brae. She lives on Juniper Lane with her husband, Greg, and enjoys the many aspects of the area, particularly the rich history and vibrant art community. Lisa has served on the Board as a Director for two years and is the editor of the Sandy Brae newsletter.

John Kelly, John’s family has owned their home in Sandy Brae for over 40 years. A veteran of the US Army Security Agency, John recently retired after 50 years service with the federal government as a supervisory investigator. He serves on the Board of charitable organizations and operates a living history association. You may see him driving his WWII Jeep in the community! He also volunteers at Cape Henlopen State Park’s Fort Miles. John lives with his wife ,Gail, on Beech Drive. He enjoys visits from family, driving the WW II Jeep, and the company of wonderful neighbors.

Ken Crump, Ken is a PA native who worked in Harrisburg, the state’s capital, for more than 42 years. Out of college, he joined a private, non-profit governmental “think tank” as a research associate focused on government finances, taxes and administration for 15 years. He left there to join the administrative office of the Supreme Court of PA., serving in the areas of budget and finance until his retirement in 2019. Drawn by salt water and sand, he joined the Sandy Brae community in 1998, first as a seasonal/weekender, until he became a full-time resident in 2019 after his retirement.

Helen Hannah, Helena has over 30 years’ experience in management and accounting. Prior to retirement, worked at the national headquarters of a sorority as accounting manager. Served as council member/treasurer for the Town of Bowers Beach. Moved to Sandy Brae in 2019 and enjoys living near the water. Lives with husband Charlie and two dogs on Maple Drive. For the past two years, Helena has served as Secretary of the Board.

Joseph (Joe) Abernethy, Joe Abernethy, with his wife Anna, retired to Long Neck in 2012 after lengthy careers in technology at Con Edison. They moved to Sandy Brae in 2022, where they enjoy the neighborhood and the salt life. Joe is most at home on the golf course or in his kitchen, applying the lessons he learned at his Nonni’s knee. Joe and Anna enjoy sampling the restaurants on the Culinary Coast and cruises to the Caribbean whenever possible. We look forward to helping the community thrive and helping our neighbors wherever we can.

Dr. Scott Pearl: Originally from Philadelphia and raised in Wilmington, Dr. Scott Pearl is a proud University of Delaware graduate and lifelong Blue Hens fan. He began his optometry career in Dover, where he met his wife, Mary Anne. After 38 years of marriage and a 31-year career in South Florida, they relocated to the historic charm of St. Augustine before eventually making Lewes home.

A natural leader, Scott has served on numerous condominium and professional boards, including ten years on the Board of Trustees for the Florida Optometric Association, where he later served as President.

When he’s not traveling the world—most recently spending three weeks in Japan—Scott enjoys riding his e-bike on the Lewes and Rehoboth trails, cheering on baseball, and planning trips to visit every Major League Baseball stadium. A devoted dog dad to two rescue dogs, he also treasures spending time with his extended family, who now live nearby.

Anthony Natoli: A husband, father, son, and friend committed to being an active and engaged community member. He brings a wealth of experience guiding people toward growth, from mentoring individuals one-on-one to leading and developing teams and organizations. Anthony has spent his career helping groups communicate clearly, work through challenges together, and build systems that actually work. He has a deep understanding of how people learn, how organizations function, and what it takes to bring out the best in those around him. Whether on the field, in the classroom, or in the boardroom, Anthony knows how to listen, motivate, and move people forward. He is excited to bring that same dedication, clarity, and collaborative spirit to our neighborhood.
